Notifications Center
The Notifications Center collects every alert relevant to you — new messages, team changes, account and security alerts — in one place.
Viewing notifications
- Select the bell icon from anywhere in the app.
- Unread notifications are highlighted; select one to open what it refers to (a conversation, a team change, etc.) and mark it as read automatically.
- Use Mark all as read to clear the list without opening each one.
Types of notifications
- Messages — new messages in conversations you’re part of.
- Team updates — role changes, being added to or removed from a group.
- Security alerts — new device logins, password changes.
- Account alerts — anything related to your own account status.
Managing your preferences
Go to Settings → Notifications to control:
- Which types of notifications you receive in-app.
- Whether you also get emails for security-sensitive events (these can’t be fully turned off, since they protect your account).
- Push notification settings for mobile — see Enable Push Notifications.
Note: security-related emails (new device login, password changes, account deletion requests) are always sent regardless of your in-app notification preferences, since they exist to protect your account.
