Why can’t I log in?

Here are the most common reasons, in the order to check them.

1. Wrong email or password

  • Make sure there’s no typo or autocorrect issue in your email.
  • Passwords are case-sensitive — check Caps Lock.
  • If you’re not sure, use Forgot your password? — see Reset Your Password.

2. You haven’t set up your account yet

If you were just invited, you need to set your password from the invitation email first — see Create Your HiveCare Account. An expired invitation needs to be resent by your administrator, not requested fresh by you.

3. Missing verification code

On a new device, HiveCare asks for an emailed verification code in addition to your password. If it hasn’t arrived within a few minutes, check spam, confirm your email address is correct, and request a new code rather than retrying the same one repeatedly (codes expire).

4. Your account is pending deletion

If you (or someone) previously requested account deletion, HiveCare blocks login during the 30-day grace period and shows a specific message with a link to cancel the deletion. See How do I delete my account? for what this means and how to cancel it.

5. Your access was suspended or removed

An administrator may have deactivated your access or removed you from the organization. You’ll see a message indicating this rather than a generic error — contact your organization’s administrator to restore access.

6. Too many failed attempts

For your protection, repeated failed login attempts temporarily lock out further tries. Wait a few minutes and try again with the correct credentials, or reset your password.

Still can’t get in?

Contact support with your email address and what error message (if any) you’re seeing.
