Understanding the Dashboard

Your dashboard is the first thing you see after logging in, and it adapts to your role.

What you’ll typically find

  • Overview cards — a quick snapshot of what matters to your role: team activity, pending items, or recent updates depending on whether you’re an admin, staff, or client-facing user.
  • Quick access to Messaging — jump straight into conversations without navigating through menus.
  • Notifications bell — unread alerts across the app; see Notifications Center.
  • Main navigation — Messaging, Team/Management, Attendance, Audit Records, and Settings, depending on your permissions. See User Roles & Permissions if a menu item you expect isn’t visible.

If you belong to more than one organization

If you have memberships in multiple organizations, use the switcher in your profile menu to move between them. Everything on the dashboard — messages, team lists, notifications — is scoped to whichever organization is currently active.

Different dashboard for admins

If you’re an administrator, your dashboard includes management shortcuts (inviting members, reviewing audit records, billing) that regular team members don’t see. See Team Management.
